Canada, Manitoba: A petrified limb cast is a trace fossil formed when a tree branch is buried in volcanic ash or sediment, decays, and leaves a void, which is later filled with minerals like agate. This specimen was found in the Souris gravel pits in Manitoba. It polished wonderfully and has a crystallized recess. Lots of inclusions. Unique!
