Mexico, Sonora, Alamos: Peanut obsidian is a unique volcanic rock—technically a spherulitic perlite—featuring striking, hematite-red or brown feldspar orbs set against a dark gray or black matrix. This is a brittle material that I had to stabilize before shaping. Wrapped in gold colored sterling silver. Chain not included.
