USA, Oregon/Idaho border: This agate comes from Graveyard Point, a legendary rockhounding region straddling the Oregon–Idaho border, where hot spring systems once flowed through the volcanic landscape. Today, the area is dotted with active gem claims, and each zone within Graveyard Point produces distinct types of plume—ranging from fine black sprays to golden, mossy, or dendritic structures. I cut, polished and affixed the stone to a silver coated brass and “pewter” (zinc-based alloy) cuff bracelet.
