Mexico, Chihuahua: Includes 3 pieces of Calandria agate and 2 cabochon/slabs of Picacho agate. The Calandria is notable for the purple color. Most Calandrias I have worked with are usually clear with areas of color. This is the first specimen I have worked with this deep purple color. 2 of the pieces have really nice crystal pockets. The Picacho pieces were cut by me and “cabbed”, meaning the pieces have a flat side with the other side domed. Both pieces have beveled edges that would allow them to be wrapped into jewelry, or you can admire them just as they are on the stands included. Total weight of specimens: 4.2oz.
